Chandler Award Form & Guidelines

The Chandler Award, named in honor of Dr. Everett and Mrs. Arlene Chandler, replaces the Student Affairs Outstanding Staff Award. It honors Student Affairs employees who are enthusiastic, committed, and maintain a positive relationship with co-workers and Cal Poly employees and students.

Three Student Affairs employees will be recognized annually at the Division Fall Conference as recipients of the Chandler Award. The recipients will receive a recognition gift, a $300 cash award, and their names will be placed on a perpetual plaque housed in the Vice President’s office.

Innovative Award Form & Guidelines

The Student Affairs Award for Innovation in Programs and Services is designed to recognize creative, collaborative, and cutting-edge thinking that advances our Divisional vision – "Investing in Greatness."

The nominated programs or services will be recognized annually at the Division Fall Gathering. The recipient department will receive a transfer of $1,000 to its state operational budget, and the program/service name will be placed on a perpetual plaque, which will displayed in that department throughout the academic year in which the award is presented.
